The factory hot-side pipe for the 2004.5-2010 Duramax features numerous restrictive bends and chokes the engine with 2.5” piping. The 3” diameter of the Diesel Performance intercooler pipe provides lower EGTs. The Diesel Performance hot-side intercooler pipe and boot kit is a direct bolt-on upgrade and features mandrel bent aluminum with a polished finish.
