Before installing the billet cap:
- Install the new O-ring supplied with your new Fleetguard oil filter.
- Swap Allen Head Plug on top
- Apply a light coat of clean engine oil to the O-ring.
- Lightly lubricate the cap threads with clean engine oil to help prevent galling and seizing during future oil changes.
